Police & Fire Committee Changes:
At a meeting of the Board of Trustees, conducted on May 24, 2010, a decision was made to change or restructure the approach of the Fire and Police Committees. The Board voted to change the format for the Fire and Police Committees from individual committees to a Committee of the Whole. This would eliminate the separate meetings and the public safety topics would be discussed and decided upon by the entire Board of Trustees. This process would eliminate the redundancy of reviewing the information and eliminate the need for an employee to record or take minutes of the meeting and save taxpayers' dollars. OFFICE HOURS CHANGE
At the regular board meeting of the Charter Township of Mundy, conducted on May 24, 2010, the Board of Trustees changed the Administrative Office hours on Mondays. Instead of being open from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., the hours were changed to 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The reasons cited for the change are twofold. The first is the lack of customers from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second concern was a security concern due to the limited number of staff being scheduled to work until 7:00 p.m. If residents have any concerns, please contact the Supervisor's Office at (810) 655-4631.
Therefore, as of May 25, 2010, the regular office hours will be as follows:
Monday - Thursday
8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Closed Fridays
TRASH PICKUP
All material for pickup must be at the curb side by 7:00 am. All collections will be on Monday except for holidays that are observed on Monday (For 2010 Memorial Day and Labor Day). Collection will be delayed one day on those holidays. For Recycling Pickup see schedule at this link.
