Mundy Township Assessing and Tax information is now available on line and can be accessed through this link. Taxpayers may look up their own parcel information for free. Commercial entities will be charged a $2.00 convenience fee.
Assessing Department Personnel
Assessors must be certified by the State Tax Commission in Lansing. New classifications were implemented at the start of 2011. The classifications used by the State Tax Commission are Michigan Certified Assessing Officer(MCAO), Michigan Master Assessing Officer(MMAO), Michigan Advanced Assessing Officer(MAA0) and Limited Michigan Certified Assessing Officer(LMCAO). All levels require continuing education which includes mandatory classes and some electives.
